The Texas Society Order of Confederate Rose is a non-profit organization that assists
the Texas Division of Sons of Confederate Veterans with their historical, educational,
benevolent, and social functions. Emphasis is placed on preserving Confederate symbols.
Membership in the OCR is open to anyone ten years of age or older, regardless of
lineage and gender, who wishes to support the SCV in their efforts to protect and defend
southern heritage and pride. The cost to be a member is only $20 a year.
As for a child under the age of 10 years he or she can become a Confederate Legacy.
The cost of becoming a Confederate Legacy is only $10.
